Pre-AP Project: Biomolecule University

So here it is, second 6 weeks, second Pre-AP Bio Projects (no groaning!)  The links below lead you to download the project instructions and the grading rubric.

In summary, you and possibly a partner are creating a skit, powerpoint or video to show the digestion of  a bite of food, its absorption, and the jobs those nutrients in the body.  You are not going to describe the digestion of everything in that food, just one of four macromolecules (protein, carbohydrate, lipid, cholesterol).

pre-AP Homework 10/5-6

Wrapping up Biomolecules, we are taking a quiz next class (A day reviewing in class), so complete your quiz reviews. 

Also, the new project (Biomolecule University) has been assigned and is due 10/28-29.  You may work with one other person of your choice.  See the assignment sheet and rubric on the handouts tab of my teacherweb.

Complete your Endocrine system (organs, organ jobs, and describing 3 diseases) on the naked fat guy template.  You may pick whatever gender you like for this system, or include both genders.
